A role play. A couple is a couple.

The other day I tried this Role Play, and it was quite a lot of fun. First you write on the blackboard about 8 well-known couples, for example, Romeo and Juliet, Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, etc., and you have to ask your students to choose a character from one of the couples; then you choose a boy and a girl in the class and they have to prepare a love declaration based on their characters. One can be Fiona from Shrek and the boy may be David Beckam, so in the end, everybody has a lot of fun, and from my point of view they do not feel shy, and speak more than ever.
I hope this is a good idea for some of you.
See you soon!

How to write a good composition?

The most important thing to write a good composition is to be organized. Many students do start at the spur of the moment to write, and they do not allow themselves to create/form at least one mental outline. This outline is supposed to contain certain things, for example, the title, the number of paragraphs, what the paragraphs are going to be about, the connectors to use, the closing paragraph, etc.
Then we can start writing by having in mind what type of essay or composition we are asked to write, it is not the same to write a descriptive one or a narrative one.
We star writing and we organize ideas, this writing is not supposed to be the final one, it can be a draft, but do not forget that time is quite short, so whenever there are ten minutes left for the end of the writing, you are supposed to create your final, do not be lazy the teacher will take your exam at the exact moment, and you may have not finished you final version.
We will continue next day with more tips for compositions.
